RUST REMOVAL FROM SINKS, TUBS, TOILETS AND TILES:


CLEANING a bathroom shouldn't be a daunting task. The appearance of rust on sinks, tubs and bathroom tiles can be enough to put off even the more creative Hosecleaner "not me". cleaning a bathroom rust isn't difficult however. It can be accomplished with several items found in the kitchen. Lemon Juice left to sit on the offending spot for at least 30 minutes should be enough to remove the rust. white vinegar works much in the same manner. It may take a couple of applications, but either of these household staples should be enough. If they're not, you may want to try something a little stronger such as ordinary household bleach or a product containing OXALIC ACID.

IF not properly maintained chrome fixtures can become dull and cloudy. After cleaning a bathroom yo want your chrome fixtures to sparkle!
For blinding results brilliance, make a paste of baking soda and diswashing liquid. Apply this to your chrome fixture and rub clean with a cloth. Warm vinegar will also make a bathroom shine. Here's an additional tip: to clean stains from your bathroom chrome and tiles, use baby oil!!

THE first method you should try to remove odor from your cupboards is to place a box of baking soda inside each cabinet. Baking soda will take care of most odor problems. However if the baking soda does not alleniate the problem, take everything out of your cabinets and wipe down the inside of your cupboards with a heavy mixture of white vinegar and water.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR HARDWOOD FLOORS:

1.-SWEEP wood floors often with a soft fine bristle broom.
2.-VACUUM once or twice a week to remove dirt and sand. Use a soft brush attachment to minimize scratching.
3.-SINCE water is one of a wood floors worst enemies, get rid of water right away! remove wet spills ASAP with soft towels or a wet dry vacuum, then dry throughly.
4.-Use a very dry damp mop when mopping polyurethaned floors, since excess water can seep into seams and ruin a wood floor. wipe with a cloth diaper for a lint free shine.

If left to dry, soap scum removal can be one of the most difficult parts of cleaning a bathroom, but it doesn't have to be that way. To eliminate this problem, first try a little preventive maintenance. Keep a squeegee in your bathroom. To wipe down a shower doors and walls after every bath or shower. In addition, if you use a bar soap, you might want to consider switching to a liquid soap since it doesn't contain talc. Finally, here's a quick tip, use a dryer sheet, just dampened and wipe along your shower door, soap scum will not be an issue. and this also works for cleaning bathroom tiles of this unsightly film as well.

APPLIANCES:


TELEVISIONS: When the screen is cool, wipe it with a damp paper towel or microfiber cloth, towel dry. Clean metal or chrome trim and plastic or glass trim doors with a soft moistened with rubbing alcohol, white vinegar or window cleaner, dry with a paper towel.
TELEPHONES: Wipe the handset and base or cradle of the telephone with a damp cloth and all purpose household cleaner, wiring the cloth out well to prevent water from getting into the unit.
COMPUTERS: Never used household glass cleaners on computer monitor screens. Instead use a static-free product made for cleaning monitor screens. Keep static-free covers on the computer and printer when not in use.
-Product: All-purpose (non-abrasive)cleaners (powder liquid).
How to use it? Mix with water or use liquids full strength according to package directions; generally no rinsing required, except for no-wax floors or when used full-strength.
MOCROWAVE-OVEN: If there's a trurntable, remove it and wash in warm, sudsy water or in the dishwasher, then dry. To clean the interior boil a cup of water inside for 3 to 4 minutes. The condensation will loosen any food soil on the walls or ceiling oven. Then wipe with a damp sponge or cloth, and dry. Never use a comercial oven cleaner or remove the cover in the top of the oven interior for cleaning. To deodorize, wash the interior surfaces every few months with a solution of 1/4 of baking soda to 1 quart of warm water, rinse and dry.

DEFOGGING YOUR BATHROOM MIRROR: No one wants to waste time in the morning defoging a bathroom mirror. Rather than spend time during your hurried morning shower, why not try this?? make a mirror defogging part of your weekly ritual. To prevent your mirror from fogging after you shower. clean it once a week with a solution of diswashing liquid and water. for a more unconventional method rub the mirror with shaving cream, and rub it off well with a soft cloth, aim a hot air dryer towards it and it will clear in no time.
